i meant hooked up to any amp, so the pioneers are better? i mean i can get 2 kicker comps for like 90 bucks or the 2 pioneers for like 120 off ebay

Pioneer wins. But if you can step it up to the CompVR's, then I would go with those over the Pioneers.

I have the pioneers, and they hit hard! I'd recommend them over the comps

Those Pioneers actually hang very well with VR's. Output is comparable and SQ is better, IMO and they're cheaper. You can't go wrong either way.

so the pioneers blow the comps out of the water then? the pioneers are about 130 shipped and the comps are about 95 shipped .... sooo i guess i can try and squeeze in the extra 35 bucks for the pioneers...

plus there dvc over the svc comps, and there 500 watt rms compared to the 150 watt comps

big difference 35 bucks can make!

I find that it is always worth spending more to get exactly what you want, rather than spending less to get something mediocre. plus, 35 isnt much to pay for a higher quality product.

haha yea, im actually goin WAYY over my budget than i expected... i only wanted to spend 100 on the complete system lol, now im spendin 135-140 on the speakers ALONE, geez i wonder how much a amp that can push 1000 watt RMS is gonna cost me !!!

I would try to find a decent amplifier that does anywhere from 600-1000 RMS used. I dont think you would need to spend more than $150 to get one if you look around.

wait a second, they make two versions of the TS-W306C ?? im finding dual and single voice coil ones.... cus when i really search i can find a TS-W306C single voice coil for like 35 bucks ?

whats the deal? i should just stick with the dvc right...

ok now i can get 2 TS-W306C single voice coils for 95 shipped .... are these STILL better than the kicker comps?

how much better are the DVC over the SVC TS-W306C ? im still pricing around to find the cheapest dvc pair
