choosing between DVC or SVC depends on the amount of subwoofers you want to buy, and the amplifier you plan to purchase. There is no audible difference between the two.

i dont know this is confusing me...

so those are the 2 same subs? i also found out the dvc and svc are basically same price...

im gonna run 2 (TS-W306C)with an amp to be purchased later... so i should just get the svc subs? theres no better choice considering how loud they get or performance wise?

I would get the Dual 4 ohm voice coil versions, so you could run both off 1 ohm off a mono amp.

dual 2 ohm single coils would also work well, but I dont know if they make those.

well lets think about this. If the SVC ones are 4 ohms, you will need to spend much more on an amp to power them at 2 ohms rather than 1.

so if i got the svc, there both 4 ohm wire them togetheer would make 2 ohm right? so i would have to get like 800 watt rms at 2 ohms correct?

for the dvc i wire the dvc to 2 ohms, then 2 subs makes 1 ohm , so thats 800 watts at 1 ohm

yup. It would be cheaper to find an amp that does 800 at 1 ohm as opposed to 2

alot of amps im lookin at cant play at 1 ohm ? or are they not just showing it? im searching thru caraudio.com amps section...

If you want cheap, pick up a HiFonics Brutus BX1000D. 1000 RMS at 1 ohm mono. Will be perfect for those subs, and cost you less than $200 brand new shipped.

theyre pricey, and wont come close to producing their advertised power. If you dont want to spend much money, try to find a used amplifier that does about 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms. 200 per sub will get them moving pretty well. But personally, I would spend $50 more and get exactly what you need rather than something that will just "work."
