ive been hearing around that the pioneer premier subs are pretty decent for the money. One guy saying theyre great for spl and the other sq. hmmmm.... Im checking this up for a friend. He has a smaller trunk space so mabye two tens sealed. could anyone help me out on shining some light on the premier's performance to sealed and ported and so forth? INput is appreciated thank you!

honestly... if your planning to seal them, don't buy them. They are made almost strictly for ported applications. A single 10" sub ported will have considerabally more output than two of the 12's sealed... generally

I love my 2000SPL's. SQ is solid... SPL is respectable. Great budget subs. Easily comparable to the Type R's (even though I know I will get flamed for that)

I've heard the 3000SPL's are a decent step up from the last year models.
