Would these subs sound good in a ported box??? I know that pioneer recommends 1cubic ft but i was just curious because i just bought a pair off ebay for CHEAP and i was wondering if anyone else is running these subs!?!?!

um, is that your box in your avatar? and your askin how they sound? or if they are good?

Yeah thats my box and its what there going in i have the 306dvc's right now im just curious if those prs's are gonna sound good in it too.............

I have a pair in my store in a sealed box but they don't sound that great. The only box that has made them sound remotely decent is a vented box. They sounded like crap in a sealed box.

Well thanks for the input man....What are the specs on that box that you had them in so i have a remote idea of the soun to expect..... oh yeah and what are you powering them with ???

It was just a generic prefab sealed box, prolly was to big which is why it sounded like crap. I was pushing it with an Interfire Audio A1100.2. Maybe I will get motivated on Monday and put it in a smaller box. Then again maybe not, it will be Monday.
