Pioneer Premier TS-D720C

just mount a piece of glass or metal at a 45 deg angle to the tweeter, pointing right at you. Then monkey with the EQ a little, the heavy reflections and overdriving of the amp at select freqs will cause a horrible screeching sound you will be sure to enjoy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You should really try other soft domes. I don't like any Alpine tweeters. All soft domes do not sound the same. Some soft domes can sound agressive as metal, just smoother highs.

I was thinking you might want to try out some of Boston Acoustic's stuff. Like the SL60. I just feel like if it's not the top Boston Acoustic stuff, it isn't great.

Anyhow, why don't you check out the Pheonix Gold RSD65CS.

They are referred to by many as the best of the lower costing component sets. I haven't had much experience with them, but I do remember them producing a surprising level of midbass. The tweets are pretty bright as well, I think you would be really happy with them.

You can probably find them for $90 shipped. You can't go wrong.

I was also recently looking into getting these or either step up a little and get the PRS version, but I currently have the JL A4300 4 channel. It pushes 70 watts per channel, and these speakers say 60 RMS and the PRS Claim 50 RMS so would my amp give them too much power or no?
