Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000SPL WTF!?

not competition, just loads of fun. I have 3 12" type r's in my HHR with an alpine MRD 1000/1 amp. The amp has alot of distortion, but i would buy it again. From this point i have always been an alpine guy (playing it safe) this time i am trying to venture out.

SPL is great, SQ is great. I figure with 4 memphis m3 10" i will get a ton of SPL but good SQ thats why i will be sealing them.

I have been discussing amp with a couple fellows but they are sponsored by a company that sells audio products online and they keep trying to tell me to buy these $1k amps that put out 1000 watts rms and get 2 of them. I AM LIKE HOLY **** i love SQ but if SQ cost 2k then here i come distortion.

So maybe go with a cheaper one? Alphasonic? SPL amps? ect.

Shoot i think sonicelectronix says 520 or so around there. the local shops have memphis and JBL which are more expensive for the wattage.

get an audioque 2200d for the cheap and call it a day man theyre like 300 bucks or so. and used on here i think theyre cheaper.

no i do not, all manufacturers rate them differently and you don't actually use them in daily driving situations. It does give you a good guideline though
