i have a choice of either the pioneer deh-p770mp or the deh-p860mp. Which one would ya'll choose and why??
well some guy in the classified got a used 860 in mint condition for $250 shipped...ebay average price for the 770 is like $200 shipped...not too much in price difference..
i've been reading that the 860 has like 6.5v...and some people says that you have to see if your amp can handle that amount of voltage...is that true? i'm going to be running a phoenix gold x600.1 amp.

i'm getting it fixed. what's ironic was there was a thread posted about the 960 vs. the 860 and i said get the 860 because the 960 has problems with the face not working. i get in my car today and the ****ing face won't open. i can still listen to the cd that's stuck in there, but what a ****ing kick in the nuts.
Mine did this as well, Disconnect the wire harness from the back, give it a few mins, plug er back in, and see if it works. It worked for me on the few occasions my 860 fu(ked up. I live on a dirt road, and I think that probably has something to do with it, plus all the bumps etc. Also there is a reset button on the face, dont remember where offhand, try pushing that with a pick or somthing of the like....
