hit the reset button and it works fine now. you desrve a kudos or pat on the back.

usually when that happens, i'll slide the face off and spray the gears with WD-40. works every time.

Cool dude, glad to hear it worked. I dont know what it is, but EVERY pioneer deck I have owned has done this, well the non motorized decks just wouldnt fully eject the cd. Ive talked to my friends who have them, and they have the same problem...

I sent my 860 to get serviced today cause I put a cd in their with a thick *** label(bootleg) and it got stuck. My brother car is down(getting a/an engine swap) so he lent me his 7700mp until I get my 860 back and **** that sh*t is like night and day, its better then having no radio for 5 days but honestly I have to turn the 7700 all the way up to get any volume out of it compared to only turning it half way up on my 860 and that 3 band eq I can't deal with. It like going from a 500hp beast to a 130hp cavalier. That 860 will spoil you trust me im learning the hard way until I get mine back. The lack of volume, features, and functions is killing me...eeehh

well i'm trying to stick with either alpine or pioneer...i checked out the alpine CDA-9855 and it was a very nice deck...felt more robust than the pioneers. But i read that they have a bit more problems than the 860, and i can't find any good deals on it either.

well i'll be getting the 860 hopefully if the dude hasn't sold it yet...waiting for him to pm me back.

...your gains weren't adjusted accordingly then. there shouldn't be a night/day difference

The will be a night and day difference coming from a 860mp to a 7700. Their nothing alike as far as sound quality and sound options. 6.5volt pre-out to 2.2 pre-out, 13 band eq to 3 band, time correction, adjustables slopes etc. The 860 just sounds 100 times better IMO
