Alright, appreciate it. Now the possibility of a carputer has entered my mind.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
Just curious. Why compare a mid level Pioneer (Premier) with Eclipse's flagship.??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif If you want to comapre the 2 why not weigh the Eclipse 7000 to the Premier 880 or 980?? That would be more even I would think. Personally the 880 is a much better bang for the buck than the 7000. Might as well compare apples to apples instead of apples to oranges.
I liked the looks... and didnt want 980 because its just extra money for the bluetooth. I dont know how much I really like the look of the 880 myself. And the aesthetics of the head unit is a big thing for me I guess.
Also, Im afraid of putting it in and then having it jacked by the scallywags around here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
Yah I was looking at mp3car.com they had the Xenarc flip screen with the custom built in DVD drive, that looked real clean. I was considering doing something like that, buying the flipscreen installing the DVD in it, then building the carputer with a massive HD and such. Then having either an old Eclipse or lower end one. I just dont know if I have the space for it... cuz I cant tell if my truck is double din... Its weird.
EDIT: Although Im pretty sure its not, Crutchfield when I did what fits your car, said I couldnt fit in the double din vid screens.
