HU wont turn on.

i just tried to put my panasonic HU in and it wont turn on..

there is no room back there for the wires and it sits up really far. so i figured i would mess with it later so i left it. i put everything back and hook up the battery and it wont work...

i got a metra wiring harness, and the mounting kit is fine, and the ant adaptor is fine. something has to be wrong with that wiring harness..

i plugged the car wire thing into the wiring harness and soldered all those wires into the plug that came with the HU.. and it doesnt work.. if that makes any sense..

Stating the obvious...

ONE. Maybe its not wired right

TWO. Its jacked up... the HU that is.

THREE. Wait I think those are the only 2 obvious...

Did the wire harness come with a wiring guide and all?

it came with a list of what color the wires were and what they were to.. i know that all those are correct because they were all the same color on both harnesses.. how do i check my fuse?

its weird because when the faceplate is off there is a red blinking light but when i put it on and try to turn it on, nothin happens.

Fuse should be on the back of the HU. Should look like the fuses that are in the fuse block in your car. Check that and make sure it's not blown.
