Pioneer or Alpine...

I am recently troubled by the choices between a pioneer head and a alpine head unit....What if i have a reasonable budget of let's say US$ 300-400, should i go for the Pioneer or the alpine heads.....Please recommend me in terms of technology nad quality wise...

I'd say either way, they both make solid decks and both have a lot of nice features. I'd recommend going into a local car audio shop and playing around with some of their various models to compare them.

i have owned 3 pioneer decks and 1 alpine deck (the one currently in my sig). If i had another choice i would go pioneer again. The alpines are incredible hard to set up the eq, you need to be a physics nut (not bashing just stating its difficulty of use..). Even on the lower end decks of pioneer (3500, 5500MP) i find to have great SQ and features.

I personally would reccomend pioneer.... buts thats just my opinion

well, with 300-400 dollars, I would definately go with pioneer. Tehy have been know to have better quality and not to mention a great look. I have a sony xploid in my car right now, but im selling that and getting a pioneer. I install systems and that has been one of the best brands I have put in. Its so versatile and jsut great quality.

iam say pioneer i love the look of them and then the easy to use features
