I have been reading about a lot of people having noise problems with the pioneer hu, does this include the new models also and the premier lines?

my 880 had some noise issues...I wouldn't risk it if I were you.

I had the same deck... similar problems. Weird thing was I didn't notice it much until I replaced it with the Alpine 9887 and saw what I had been missing! Go for Alpine or Eclipse for ease of install, or make sure you get a super solid ground on the Pioneer. That just about fixed the issue for me. Still had a little hiss though. The Alpine sounds way better in my opinion...
