Pioneer amplifier not turning on/working?

Hey guys,

Recently, my mono-block amplifier that powers my sub broke down. It still turns on but there's no power/current going to the sub.

I then was given a small Pioneer amplifier (GM-3300T - 2 channel 150w RMS), it's bridgeable so I hooked it up and it was working well (just not as powerful as the mono).

I disconnected it, screwed it to the seat and re-connected it - BUT NOW IT DOESN'T TURN ON???

I've analysed all the wiring and not sure what the problem is. If I connect the remote wire to my mono then the mono turns on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ....but when I connect it to the Pioneer - NOTHING?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Have any of you experienced something similar?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I've managed to get this one working!

All it needs is an electrical signal to get it working so instead of connecting the remote terminal to the head unit, I just connected it straight to the power (red) wire.

I dunno why it didn't work before, maybe there wasn't enough current coming from the head unit?

Simple fix for any future problems.
