PICS, xxx15 Recone @ Home, need help

BassAdictJ and iamamp3pimp, I don't live in Tampa anymore but come back as often as I can. Just curious if either of you guys are going to SBN?

do the XXXs come in the same kinda recones MT does,i know some subs have to glue everything together, like the coil and cone, MT everything is all put together

On the XXX you only have to glue the spider and surround to the basket. And glue the dustcap on. The recone comes together already

Dont need them, but its a total pain making them over and over again...

They'll work just fine..

On the XXX you only have to glue the spider and surround to the basket. And glue the dustcap on. The recone comes together already

hmmm, think they will make a recone kit for me? bascially i need an 18" basket and SX softparts onyl with double soft spiders instead of w/e SX's come with. only thing is i dont know where the coil is sapposed to sit. But if they could it would save me on shipping.

Its all the same when you have recone kits, as long as you have good shims. Though the MT has tighter clearances.

I wouldnt say alot..same deal, you just have to glue one more thing (inner cap) aswell as making the shim a bit thicker since the gap is much bigger.
