Here's my Excursion.

A PXA-H701 for the front and a PXA-H510 for the rear.

I've done a little Scan IB in the doors myself, but would love to hear 4 of them on the job. I'm sure I'd give it the "TEAM Front Fill" seal of approval.

Some of the best installs that I've seen are European cars. They have such immediate access to all the uber equipment. Makes Fox jealous.

IB=smoother response and if done right a lot more detail to the sub bass region..also they play lower, they do not get as loud though.

I got lucky... i actually gained output/efficiency w/ my sub setup after going IB.

NO you lose power handling, and actually if the sub is ment for IB it will be tighter bass. I would run an IDW 15 or an 18 up against a boxed 8" or 10" any day of the week.
