everything is off on the H/U and on the amp except subsonic i have the amp freq on low 70ish and the gain about 1/8 of the way up witht he car running and volume on 35/35 it does 40.8 with 50hz note!

You should not be turning the volume up that high on the Head Unit.

Eclipse units have an extremely clean signal on their pre outs. My 8445 doesn't even start to clip until 78ish depending on the EQ settings...

it does 800w @ 2 ohms, 1100w @ 1ohm. you have a dual 4 ohm speaker, and that amp is running at 800w.

It will give a step by step on how to determine the clipping level of your pre outs.

I jsut listened to it with the freq at 70 ish and the gain alittle ways up to tune it to 40.5ACVs and you can barely hear the sub BARELY ANY BASS AT ALL! When i had the freq half and the gain half that shit was so loud but! What should i do?

I had a similar problem with my Ultimate.

By the time I decided it could just be the amp and took it in to get looked at they had to give me a whole new unit.

Come to think of it I was running a dreaded R type at the time.04
