Ok here is what my amp is set at and it is ACVed at 48.0 V RIGHT HERE i turned the freq up a bit it isnt even all that loud the same is in perfect condition the meg smells a bit but moves smooth and tight with no scratch or noise! What should i do any suggestions?

I hope its at 2 ohms. If its at 1 Ohm, that means its getting just over 2300w, most likely severely clipped.

looks like it is wired at 1 ohm

Just checked the stats that amp only puts out 1100 watts at 1 ohm

Thats how spkrman told me to wire it! thats why he only ran the 2 wires out the box like that! Should i do 4 wires 1 to each + and -?

What does the "bass eq" do on that amp? If it's a bass boost type thing, turn it off.

but when i put the freq about half is then makes my gain where it is no have about 55ACVs! So i should turn the gain down more where it is right now it isnt really even loud just alittle bass..

hell to be sure you have you dmm right there whats the sub wire at the amp read ohms wise? if its 1100 @ 2 ohms he has it set right if its not hes clipping the shit outta it

It's not at 1 ohm, it's at 2 ohms. Thats a DVC 4 ohm sub.

yes it is a dual 4 i ahve it wired to 2 not 1 ohm it is wired correctly its just the **** amp setting it sound good at like 58V any lower sound liek shit!

working with him on aim got everything i think set right far as i cna tell without seeing it at all hes setting the gain with the dmm right now
