I was going to go crazy with an external active xover (installed) & dual 30-band (not installed yet).....but I'm going to try out the KISS method and try only using the internal features of the 8053 that just arrived at my house yesterday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif So that'll replace my external xover and *hopefully* I won't need the external EQ anymore. I may still run it on my horns though...since I'll only have a 5band parametric to cover 19,000 frequencies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Those are rack mounts.....they are, essentially, pro sound style EQ/xover that have been slightly redesigned for use in a car.

its all about physically limiting each frequency to each speaker on your own free whim.

you get to tell what speaker to play what frequencies.
