After you finish downloading the driver s and all that stuff. Give your PC a restart. Sometimes a good restart get things working the way they should.

just use PC studio... i'm starting suspect you lack the mental capabilities required to use QPST.

PC studio now installed, click explore phone, check G: drive, says nothing is connected......

Pc studio apparently does not show "Removable Drive" like a USB Flash Drive would.

I don't use that program so... good luck with it.

Are you sure you've got the correct driver installed? If not, uninstall it, reinstall the correct one, and restart the computer.

Anyway... if you want something thats gauranteed to work... download QPST, call customer service and get your MSL, and install the right USB driver... then follow the instructions in the thread i posted earlier...

but I just restarded my pc and then plugged in the phone and it says this

"handset is set as a modem for PC or PDA. No data apps on handset can be used."

Any ideas on what that is or how to disable it?

And bob, how exaclt y do I uninstall the drivers that my computer already has for this phone? Id like to give that a shot

on the phone you have to find where you can set the usb connection type on my phone i can set it to USB modem Or removalbe hard drive
