try the following:

if you have a micro sd card, tell the phone to "move" or "copy" the pictures to the Memory Card (NOT THE PHONE!) then plug in the SD card alone, no phone, and see if you can get it. Then put it in the phone and see if you can get it.

This just ****ed me, I tried to move a picture from the "phone" memory to the memory card, said it sent to the memory card, gone from the phone, go to the mem card folder, its empty. Take a useless pic that gets saved in the phone, its there, move it to the mem card folder, its gone. So I set it to save directly to the memory card, take a pic, says its saving to the mem card, check the mem card folder, the pic was never saved...........

if your cell phone uses mini SD memory stick then why not just go out and buy an adaptersd card for the mini sd card and then just find some computer/laptop that has an sd card reader then upload the pics.
