it will get loud but to get a couple more db's i was told sub up port back is the best way
for ur subs i would do 10 cubes sub up port back with 120 sqaure inch port tuned to 32hz...it should break 145 with no sweat..

Hey.. if I wanted to tune the box for the competition, and i HAVE to play the 45-55 sweep.. what will my best bet for what I should tune it to? I would tune low if it was for a daily, but for one night what do you think..?

Haha.. yea.. its a pretty good time over there.. its from 11pm-4am last friday of the month in the summer.. glad to hear of someone else that knows about Cordova..

i would tuned to around 40-45hz

Alright thats good.. am at right about 45hz (at least I tried).. so I hope it works out.. I just feel like showing some of these guys down there that have 5-10k in there cars from MobileWiring in the Quad Cities (memphis stuff) whats up.. I don't mind the equiptment they run they just do it all wrong, crappy installs, etc, and people like bow down to them down there and they can't break 140 down there with THEIR mic.. only the one guy who had a 15 mojo, 4 batteries, HO alt, 2500 mojo amp, etc.. he had like a 144.x..anyways

I am going to fire up, port back.. wont have the 2nd immortal til wednesday though, so we will see..

Anyone have suggestions where to run the power wire at through the firewall? Thanks.. 97 Expedition with 5.4..

Theres a large hole with rubber cap on the drivers side by the steering column. I didnt want to run the wire across the engine bay, but I didnt feel like looking any more either.

Great.. I found it and it worked great.. made sure the power wire was out of the way and secured under the hood.. thanks a lot.. I never really looked over on the drivers sider because I didn't want to do it that way, but it works great.. Thanks..

Putting the box in right now, and going to wire up the one amp to the one sub (2nd sub will be here Wednesday!!) so we will see..

That should hit pretty good. Old school audiobahn actually had some sound to them. Now they turned all show(bling) no go.

Looks good enough for me, is ridiculously loud and in about 2 hours ill be down running it to see what is hitting.. Ill let you guys know..
