Power handling is not a power requirement. I would personally go with the Acoustic Elegance AV-15.

How about looking into Image Dynamics IDQv2 15"? ID equipment is super efficient and will most likely fit those requirements very well! I am running one with a blown coil and it has been working and sounding great for about 4 years now.

That's a good suggestion. I really like those AE subs, but I don't have $300 to spend right now. I'm gonna search for some IDQs on the classifieds.

250 watts is a lot in a house. It's not like a car where you run 250 watts to your mids, lol. Plus, plate amps are quite expensive for the power you get. Efficiency > power in a home setting IMO.

A bigger box would be preferable with a tuning that low, but it should still slam off of 250 watts. They're cheap, too!

just buy a EP2500. cheap and a good amount of power.

anything less than 2 15s on 1k a piece ported at 15 hz is weak sauce in a house...

Behringer is essentially Boss/Pyle/Legacy.

I'd rather spend 30% more for a Crown.

Werd on both of these choices for home. Dayton will be easier to obtain though.

FlipX99 is pretty happy with his 12" dayton sub in the home. The 15" titanic I listened to got down in a sealed.

Yeah, first time I saw those Behringers I couldn't believe how they could make 2500 watts for so cheap, then I read a bunch of bad reviews about em.

I may look into the GTO over the IDQ because of how cheap they are.
