Jigga what?
So I am in the midst of choosing a physics topic for my Physics II course. This project inludes a 10-page paper, along with a 5 min. PowerPoint presentation this part isn't difficult as long as I have the right topic.

I was going to doing something by the nature of how electrical current is relevant in transferring sound and the roles amplifiers, and speakers play in this.

Would you guys think this topic is suitable and also would you guys by any chance know of some good sources I could look into?

I forgot the name of the site, but it has a bunch of electrical info (as well as on box building), bcae or something like that... someone point me in the right direction?

bcae1

I have a couple of books laying around that you might want to look in to... good reference stuff.

Pulse, Digital and Switching Waveforms

Principles and design of Linear Active Circuits

Remember though, the current is only there because of the low resistance of the load of the speaker. (So you ask Why is it there?) And it may be interesting if you went into why you have to have such a low load and a high amount of current going through the coils to create the EMF needed to move the speaker cone in the magnetic field of the stationary mags...

This sounds really interesting. Its funny too because I just got out of my Physics class where EMF was being discussed in relation to coils.

Im definetly going to look into these aspects a bit more.

Thankyou for the suggestion.

BCAE1 FTW! What a great site.

College Physics III here at UC, god I hated my prof.... Damn german bastard....
Honors Physics II here...

In Physics I, I did so well (not to brag) that I thought, what the hell, lets try Honors. Not only did I take Honors, I sort of underestimated it (compared with my Physics I class) so I slacked off big time. My professor is descent but to me it seems like he makes things more complicated than they really are.

Anyways, lets just hope this project goes well for me or else things won't be looking too well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif in my future with this course.
