Scenario;

In my trunk, there are two Bose 6" in the rear deck; The left rear has an amplifier attached.

I read some articles that indicated to me that the pre-amp signal the Bose Amp receives is not a standard line-out; I didn't find much more technical information on this.

Fair enough, assuming it's over line voltage, but otherwire normal, I'll just use a line adapter.

I also came across a claim whereas if you splice into the pre-amp leads (which share a common ground) to use them as input leads for your amp, the sound will be 'out of phase,' because the factory headunit, which apparently is switchable to 'bose mode' modifies the timing to 'stage' the sound effectively.

1) True, or blashpeem?

2) Workaround, aside from an aftermarket deck?

3) Getting my amp inputs from the Bose pre-amp leads, is there anything extra I should know?

The mechanics of the connections are pretty cut and dry to me, with the exception of;

Are pre-amp leads to Bose amp/speaker combos typically over line voltage? Is there some strange phase-switching that happens there, that I should be aware of? Any workarounds? Am I complicating something essentially simple? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My plan thus far; Splice into the preamps, let 'er rip.

Heh. Thanks!
