For 60 bux I dont see how anyone couldnt be impressed with these if they properly installed them.

they can handle 100 watts as long as you are sending them a clean signal.

i have 3 sets on my doors and they sound good as long as you properly set the EQ

They're not impressive. You're right.

But for $60-70 dollars, they seriously can't be beat.

They're decently loud (They drowned out my friend's Integra... her muffler rusted off and she never got it replaced. So, it's nearly open-header.), and they aren't too harsh. They have decent response...

I think hands down the best budget comps.

Don't expect to win any sort of competition. But, they'll keep up with most subs in the budget range.

EDIT:: I thought I might like to add... they xovers are pretty sturdy, too. The driver's side got SOAKED. The terminals began to rust, but it still played.

i'd keep the bose speakers, they sound very good even on head unit power. I think they are almost as loud as my diamond hexes actually.

I don't even know how good they would sound amped.

i have a 99 grand prix GTP so the car has been around for a while.. i have owned the car for a year and a half.. it had 73k miles on it when i got it.. but the speakers still sound good.. dont know if the guy before me ever got work done on them though

hmm. my buddy that owned a shop use to replace them all the time when this old man always got his new silverado every year. his lasted maybe a month for him. he always replaced with powerbass s series coax's too.

the guy was 50 plus by the way so not a young kid not taking care of his stuff
