i may be getting a elemental designs 13ov.2 dual 4 ohm i was wondering if this amp i was gonna get will be able to do its full 400w on it. its a Phoenix Gold X400.1. the amps specs say 400W x 1 (4-1 ohm) so i think im good right? or do i have to wire the sub a certain way to make it 2 ohm? thanks for your help!

I used to have a Pheonix Gold Xenon 400.1

Yes, it does 400 watts...or better, at any ohms from 1 to 4...mine actually did 425watts. As long as you have your speakers wired to anything between 1 and 4 ohms, everything will be fine

Great amp btw......I loved mine, but the power wire came loose, and touched the case...magic white smoke...lol
