Percocet and Vicodin Questions

I got a buddy that takes his mom's percocets and vicodins for his back pain. he is about to take a drug test for a job and hes concerned if

A) will it show up on a drug test for a job, will they care?

B) how long does it take for them to get out of your system?

hes just concerned that it might show up on the drug test and he doesnt want to be questioned about it considering he doesnt have a prescription for it.

It will depend entirely on whether or not they screen for that family of drugs.

If they do catch it and he cannot provide a prescription actually written to him then yes, most likely he will be denied employment.

when applying for a job i don't think they check for prescribed drugs,only da hard stuff do they look for

they do, And it will show up, not as PERC, Or Vicadin, but as a Codone...And it will be there for about 7 days...

if he has back pain, he should get his own prescription...

I'm pretty sure it just takes about 3 days for Vicodin to clear the system. As long as he sweats allot, works out, and drinks allot of water between now and then he should be fine. It may not even show up in the first place, depends what standard drug test they have.

Most test test for codone, Ive never heard of one that didnt....And If he is normail is could get out in 5, but unless he is drinking and pissing all day it wont be out in 3...

Actually - if they show up at all it will be because they screened for opiates in general (as that is the drug family both medications belong to)

Yeah ^^ that is true...But, they test for OXYCODONE also which is a generic percocet, endocet..ETC, Well most do, any test he takes he will get caght most likely

word I failed a DT b/c of Oxycodone.. good thing I had a prescription and it was for a Root Canal.. But I thought it was only for THC.. they got me lol

I would just like to say how funny it is that you ask a car audio question on here and sometimes can barely get a response, ask a drug question and they just keep coming lol

If 3-5 is the consensus then it will probably be out very soon. he practically lives in the gym and sweats alot.

yeah trust me its something ive lectured him alot about.

a year ago he had a hurniated disc and something else that he had surgery for. he was supposed to stay out of the gym for 6 weeks. needless to say hes a moron and went back in like 2 weeks and ****ed himself up again.

he doesnt have health insurance so getting a prescription for pain pills isnt exactly cheap.
