Part time shallow sub

Any recommendations on a shallow mount sub for cheap while my sundown is being fixed? I'm talking $50-100. I'll need a dual 4 on 600watts. I can make 10 or 12" work. I've been eyeing a couple.

Are you wanting to run this sub at 2ohms?

Yea 2 ohm off a Kenwood excelon 900-5. They are not showing a d4 in stock so that might not be an option if it's discontinued.

I would go with an American Bass SL 124 or the JBL. Anything but Skar. What is the max mounting depth available?

peeps hate skar owner and company., products are ok just not loved here.. and yes if u can afford it i'd get sundown sd but for under $100 skar is not bad at all..

The owner is a shady bastard and the quality of their mid to low end stuff is pretty awful.

You can get B stock Sundown Ev3's for less than $100. They aren't designed to be a shallow mount but the 10 is 5 5/8 and 12 is 6 1/2 mounting depth.

I have a sundown. That's my problem. And they won't answer emails to help me on getting it fixed. I think I'm done with sundown. Customer service hasn't been the best.

I've never tried before. I don't think it should take 4 days to answer an email though. I guess I'll try the 80s version of communication and call them.

Hmm. Sundown is know for excellent customer service. I've certainly never had any problems with them.

Am I being **** about not having an email answered within 4 days? Maybe it's me. I'm just judging by other companies. Pioneer answered within a few hours and the "shady bastards" at Skar answered within an hour to tell me they won't have anything in stock for a month.lol
