Parents just dont understand

you know theres nothing wrong with cutting the dash to install a HU i have done it in my dads superbee and my 67 nova. they look so mush better with a modern hu then the old crap they had. they both have digital dashes btw and i love em. anyways 6x9's in the back would work great and if you want get some decent tweets to put up front find a good place to mount them without drilling holes. my friend actully put his tweets on with velcro lol. anyways theres ways around everything and if you do end up cutting the doors just rember there are plently of junkyards that you can get new doors from if you even have the need! well theres my .02

lol dude i feel ur pain i know exactly every word and for how much they make you offer cell phones i want to die.
i sold six today.. can you say $230+ in spiffs? not bad for a 9 hour day.. and then the fact that i have a base of 7.30... lol
they tell you to push it because its what makes the most $$$... listen to them lol, ask every customer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

( if you're 16, you can't enter a legally binding contract. so if you signed something, it was like an IOU to your pops. ) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Aside from that; ( and back on topic; )

Show them how much you've learned / are learning. That used to work for me.

I could see where your parents are coming from. They rather not see you drop $2k at one time into something like car audio. Put yourself in their position and find out their reasoning for not wanting you to spend a lot on the system. It is not because they hate it, but its because they rather see you spend the money elsewhere that would be more beneficial. Just think if your son wants to use up his $2k all on some special type R baseball card for his baseball collecting hobby. I too would cringe. Most people here would say otherwise and say the kid should be able to buy whatever he or she feels like.

In the eyes of your parent, they are right. In the eyes of you, you are right. But in the end, it should be your decision since you earned the money yourself. Your parents are only there to provide wisdom and help. Honestly, What I would do is spend the amount you need on audio, not blow it all on audio just because you have money. Get what is necessary. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Good luck with your project!

the gregster is right... follow his advice and be a bumb for the rest of your life just let every

one tell you what you can and can't do and obey them... no this is not the way it works

you tell your parents you are going to spend as much money as you want on your system

and if they don't like they can get out your house. Also, it is your car, if it's in your name

you legally own it and by law you can do what ever the fuk you want to do to it... so go

ahead and cut up shiit and pull shiit out and rip shiit up.. just do what you have to do to

get the system you desire in there... also, for a big car like that i would recommend getting

yourself some massive speakers... 4 - 15's with about 2000 rms to each sub

should do the trick nicely.

Kids these days thinks they have the whole world figured out. Making things out because of personal wants and greed is the way to go, only to find out later the hard way. Everyone, save up your pennies to buy the latest and most expensive platinum plated spinner rims. I'm sure in 20 years, you'll be hip and the new generation will think you are an OG. Good investment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

The ultimate decision comes down to the buyer himself, but the parents are there to aid in the decision. They don't say it because they don't want you to have it, they are helping you make a wiser choice. Down the line, you'll wish you had listened to your parents, even if you don't think so right now. But hey, what can I say. Not everyone prioritizes. I'm not saying don't put in a system at all, but don't go to the extreme where your parents will get angered if you cut up the car, after all, it is your dad who bought you it. Now if you had bought your own car, then I could see where you're arguing from. Have a little respect for your parents. I'm sure you would want the same from your kids in the future.

Then again, I'm going to get flamed for my post. Apparently, we have a lot of teenagers who knows how life works //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

all i can say it this is sooo wrong!!

kids don't think.. they know

greed is key for success

you can't buy spinners for pennies?

in 20 years... the average black male has a life expectancy of 18 years

"good investment"... i'd have to agree

no but seriously on the real... a close friend of mine had a friend that

had a brand new escolade with spree wheels and all, he obviously was at

the wrong place at the wrong time and got robbed.. i wasn't there to

tell you how it went but im thinking he gave the robbers shit because he

was that type of person to speak his mind under any circumstances...

well to make a long story short they shot him and he died before the paramedics

were able to get there... it was sad too see all his relatives and his wife at

the funeral. i never would have thought that this "kid" would be killed for his

rims and truck. I call him a kid because he was only like 23 or 24 when he died.

IMO thats too young to die, he was only married a few weeks before this happen

and he actually got the trunk and rims as a wedding gift.

I didn't know him personally but i did see him at parties and stuff i used to go to

and alot of the people i associate with were cool with him.

Its a shame when you turn on the news and hear about a murder then see a

familiar face... its one of those things you never forget
