Parallel wiring w/ 2 boxes?

Okay im going to build (2) 2cu.ft. boxes for (2) 12" Kicker L5's......i have to build 2 because its the only way i can get 4 cubes in my trunk......how would i go about wiring them together to get 1ohm (theyre D4).....i keep trying to think of it but its just not clicking....any suggestions?

Wire the voicecoils of each sub in paralell, this gives you a 2ohm load in each box, then wire the 2 boxes in paralell, this brings you down to the desired 1ohm load.
