make sure they all get the same amount of paint or they are all gonna perform differently...

Id probly strip all the paint and pollish the aluminum //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i was thinking about that but i really dont think the performence would be that big of a diff between the 3

doesnt take much to throw off the weight on those cones... and gonna be hard as hell to get the weights close considering its hard to judge how thick u put paint on.

back to my option of just pollishing the cones, would look sexy

its hard to make a stencil to paint these because even if you cut it out perfectly, the cone is round and the paper is flat...

that said, you can just sand/prime/paint Type-R's like anything else, just make sure you cover all of the surround with masking tape... you can put the tape down so that it hangs off the inner edge, then press it into the gap between the surround and the inverted dust cap w/ a credit card or something similar.

they look good in primer gray //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

*tip of tounge*

wtf does that look like????

yea, i've been thinking all day how i was gunna do it...

how many coats did you put on. ect...i like it, very subtle

1 of the woofers actually has a golfball sized hole in it. i was going to bring up all the ends and put some super glue to reattach all the peices.. Then put some kind of lightwight filler, sand then paint...that 1 in particular is gunna be a *****

i dont care though...once im done im gunna have 3 12's running at .67 ohm's off a modded mtx 1501d //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
