BTW is that 2 autolite 1100s strapped to that intake?

are you talking about the black cylinder? that's the ignition coil, and it just looks like there's two because of the reflection off my chrome fan shroud...

I was referring to carbs.

edit, lol. I just noticed that was only one carb. Looked like an autolite 1100 2b. Very nice carbs, used alot of patents in those never used in other carbs. Closest to fuel injection youll get with a carb.

You must have put 100+ hours intot he body wrk and getting it ready for paint though. Spray paint doesnt lay THAT flat and clear, what steps did you do after you layed the paint

Id do that with some green accents to my car in a **** second if I could replicate that, any closer pics?

i've probably spent about 5 hours total on body work so far. and it was all grinding rust and sanding strictly for adhesion purposes. i haven't put any body filler down myself yet. so anywhere that i ground down you can still see that it's low. and the spots that i was talking about where i just kept finding more and more bondo look really low. i can take some more pictures today with my actual camera when i wake up, then you can see the runs and the spots that i need to do real body work to.

and if you want to do some stuff, i'm sure i can walk you though how to do it if it's easy stuff. i mean i could walk you through painting anything on your car, as i do it for a living, but i wouldn't want you to screw up your car because you wanted to try to pinstripe or something and didn't have the experience. but if it's something that you can fix easily if you mess up, like painting trim pieces or something, i could definitely walk you through that online.
