P400-2 vs old school US amps

I am looking to drive some of those nice ID CTX65CS's in my Silverado. I will dynmat the whole door on both sides and I am running a radio with several bass boosting features (5-band eq, sub boost). I know that the P400-2 comes with the Bass and Treble Boost. If I do not put a sub and just run the components, do you think I should choose the P400-2 over an old school good gain US Amp because of the ability to bass boost or choose the old US Amp because of its classic reputation?

Old-school US Amps for sure.
