The Oz Audio Matrix Elite subs are great subs. The ME 15 is know in my top 5 best SQ subs. I did an IB install with a ME 15.4 and this thing was crazy. It plays crazy low, try down to 10hz with easy. And when need it just melts into your front stage.

I found the subs to not able to handle excessive power and abuse. But not everyone competes with their stereo every weekend, so I gues take that as you will. SQ sub? yep... SPL.... NOPE. And I know a few competitiors who exclusively only use Oz stuff who complain to me about blowing their subs fequently. In fact, I have an OZ matrix elite sittin on my desk ready for a recone.

alot of ppl do say they are the IDMax's lil' brothers. And i'm sure that the IDMax is far from an SPL sub.

Loved mine, sounded realllly good. This is after owning both a Mag and a TC12 in the same install as well.

Could be true as with a lot of other sub when they are abused. I would have to agree, it is not a SPL sub by no means,but don't get it twisted it has some great output, but great SQ is this sub strong point . It is rated at 700 rms so its not design to be a SPL monster.

I hear the ID max thing a lot also, coming from a person who has used the Max also I like the Matrix a little better (the 15 anyway), but if I had to choose between the ME 12 and the Max 12, the Max 12 would be my choice do to a little more output.

Because of space i was running a fully stealth install with a single Ed 11kv.3 but then moved to a OZ me but because of the depth it is now inverted but sounds great.

Also painted the motor black to match the resat of the cars theme.

no not a problem..i was thinking about inverting them just o look kool but thanks for all the input..i should be giving them 700 easy..they are dual 4's and im going to wire then in sync to one ohm..so this will be nice and im not an spl kinda guy i just want to knock wit quality sound
