Overpowering 2 Pioneer TS-W305DVCs

The will be fine...can handle the rms easily with a little more on top of that. No worries. Finally, it is nice to hear someone running pioneer besides me.
Yep I'm a big Pioneer fan, I was going to be running ALL Pioneer but Profile amps give me the power I need for alot cheaper, so my head unit, subs, and speakers will be Pioneer and my amps will all be Profile. I've got a TS-W305C hooked up to my home stereo... how do you like the 10 inch version? I'm really pleased with it, for the price they're one of the best subs out there, it sounds amazing and easily shakes the house, even in a sealed box. I'm going with two of the DVC version for my car since the amp I'm getting is 900w x1 at 4 ohms.

that profile is a huge sum***** for the power it puts out. 2x11x24 or so...when u can get that power outa amps half that size.

also, a friend had that exact same amp, supposedly modded byt hte previous owner and it still only benched 880wrms. which at bad if it was factory, but modded? and still less then rated? i dunno.....look into power acoustik, around the same price and the board internally is supposed to be the same as a planet audio (forget model numbers, someone will correct me..lol)

however, if ur happy with the power of the profile, great! i just wanted to share my little spiel there...hehe

also, most subs will indeed handle more watts then rated if in the proper enclosure and fed clean power. the wrong enclosure could lead to mechanical failure and a clipped signal could help lead to thermal failure.

but in the end, u should be okay!

I can get the Profile for $130 shipped, that's why I'm getting it. It may be huge, but it looks friggin' sweet! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

like i said..if ur happy with it, and that's what is important, then go for it!

and they aren't bad looking amps...

i had two of those subs in i think around a ~3ft^3 slot ported box and they didnt sound to bad at all... had 'em runnin off of a Lanzar 1000D (about a year ago). i was impressed with these woofers. good luck with 'em.

I have four of the tsw-125cs (premier version). They are very nice subs for the money. I dont have hardly anything in them and they do very well. Good solid investment. Oh, and you can give them a few more watts than 400. I haven't seen any reliability problems from the ones we have sold at work. Only seen a couple blow, simply because of user neglect.
