overpower components with gain set correctly?

i am buying a set of cdt components (m6' mids, drt-25 tweets, 560 xover)

the rec rms is 250. i was thinking of getting this amp : http://www.premier-audio.com/US-Amps-XT-1600-4-p/us%20amps%20xt-1600.4.htm

which puts out 450 rms x2 bridged @ 4ohms. if i set the gains very carefully does anyone see a problem using this amp? also does running a 4 channel amp bridge to two channels make it mono (i know kicker amps do this.. but does us amps)

if you set the gains correctly you shoulnd have problems, i have similar case in my system and i set the gains with the rms power of the speakers not the amp, so the amp never go over comp capacity.

example: my amp is 250Wx2@4ohm my comps are 150w@4ohm i set my gains with this voltage sqrt(150*4) = 25.0 V aprox
