they are dvc subs and the reason is i miss bumping at 1200 watts i had a viper 1200.1 untill it just gave out on me the PA i a nice amp very strong its just, i can tell a very big difference form 1200 to 760 watts i miss 1200 watts lol.By no means am I going to critique them, I've never heard them. I dont necessarily like them, but that's just me. Anywho, do you currently have them hooked up on the PA?
If so, are they suitably loud? Do you like them?
If so, why upgrade? You really arent going to have THAT much of a difference in sounds.
Are they both Single Voice Coil 4ohm woofers?
you forget this is a 2-channel amp run each sub at 2 ohm to each channel if you didnt know it gives 380 watss x 2 @ 2ohm. i know my wireing thanks for the input.Well, you have a problem
Two DVC 4ohm woofers wire to 1ohm or 4ohms
Which meanssssss
You're either running your amp at too low of an ohm rating
Or you're only getting 380 watts out of your amp(at 4 ohms)
Buy another one of the PA's
Put each on a sub
And you'll be happy
And we wont have any more complaints, K? lol
yeah i know my bad on my part lol but basicly when you have a lets say a 1500 watt max subwoofer and the rms is 500 and let say you go over that rms about 200 watts over but not at the max which is 1500 so you would be powering the sub at 700 watts right. now take my example and flip it now instead of a sub your now thinking about an amp if you got a 1600 watt max amp and its rms is 760 and then you set the gain 200 watts over the rms would anything go bad hope that helps if not im sorry.WOW, this is a confusing thread, on caliece's part lol
