Well i guess that came out wrong. I know its not cool, im just saying that thank god im 17, turning 18 in 2 weeks. But no I dont have to stay a night in jail. My friends parents are both lawyers and represent all him friends for free. They said that their might be a loophole to the fine. They didnt take me in the department to do any follow up tests instead just leleased me. So im happy about that.

I got one when I was 16 and got a year probation, no fines, no license until 18, sr22 for 6 months and a year of driving probation (cannot have a moving violation for a year). Being young and dumb FTL but I hope you learn your lesson the first time.

whether or not it was very high or not, you obviously were drinking prior to driving, and sorry to be the "teacher" but thats a no no.. a shit ton of people do it, but it only takes one time to take someones, or your own life in doing so..

Like I said, i've driven drunk, but after realizing, wow, im stupid, and going to turn into someone im not, I won't do it.. (i never did anything wrong persay, just decided to stop..)

.01, yes you can get a DUI. Its called the new no-tollerance rule or some bullshit like that. But it is bullshit. You can blow a .01 from chewing a peice of gum.

I try and stay away from the popular places at certain times.. i have 5% tint all the way around, always beatin, and they always pick on people with cars with rims, stereos, etc.. sucks..

Rode by in my civic one time by the popular younger bar in town, and this cop was sitting there, and I like looked at him (Doing nothing wrong).. and he followed me into a quik star, and asked for my ID because "I didn't look 18" (curfew) and im turning 20 in 2 weeks.. ****ing assholes..

I'm gonna agree with pimpdaddy, I've driven drunk plenty of times but just one day realized that I wouldn't want to have the death and sorrow of others on my mind. Plus I kinda just quit drinking, for the most part, all together. I'm not gonna sit here and call you names like the other people but I do hope that you learn your lesson with this one time, you probly wont but I do hope you do.

Well in my part of Michigan you wouldnt get let of blowing rubbing alcohol levels. A fine and 6 months probations is all. Wont be on your record or nothing. There are alot of badass's out there, and then there are these people trying to help you in the future. Living in a Eff'ed up way is easy, so doesnt that make us bada$$'s?

After this tidbit, I agree to an extent. Maybe they are looking to nip his habits in the bud before they become a real problem for him and everyone else down the road. .01 is nothing, but that turns into .02 is ok hen .03, then next thing you know he is driving the school bus off a cliff because no one slapped his *** harder for it while he was young. I for one am glad they didn't dismiss this. It may be only .01, but he is only a minor and should learn now not later.
