Other options for my car audio. What should i get.

I am in the process of building a ported box for my two mtx 15" 8000's, and i soon may upgrade that to a 15" atlas and use buy a set of components for my front doors. What other products would you recomend that arent too expensive, anything that will benefit my SQ. I already have a TON of deadoning.

I hear everyone talking about midbase AND midrange setups, whats the difference in the midbass in the component and the other midbass woofer that people put in?

I hear everyone talking about midbase AND midrange setups, whats the difference in the midbass in the component and the other midbass woofer that people put in?

Sometimes people just use the term midbass and midrange interchangeably to describe the single midwoofer of the component set. Other times, they are talking about the midbass and midrange drivers in a 3-way component setup: http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showpost.php?p=767530&postcount=2

i like the 3-way setup better. i have 6.5's in my doors as dedicated midbass and a set of 5.25 components in kicks for midrange and highs.
