Okay this is the wrong section I know. But I need some idea's on what color yall would paint this

I don't like the puke green color. Which according to the numbers on the car is not the original color. The original color was Saphire Blue ( don't you love the names of paints:D )

I'm not going to change the interior very much. Just a few mods to fit a system in.

So what color do you think ? Thinking the orginal Saphire blue. But A freind who owns a paint shop suggested smokesilver with black accents. Any suggestions ?

i always liked the silver mustangs, i don't know y, they just look so much better than any other color, especially puke green. Of course, depending on what year you have, you could turn it into Elenor from "Gone in 60 Seconds". I believe it was a 67-68 shelby, i have a magazine that tells all about it. They give you where to buy all the parts, what color paint they used, and everything else about it. I don't know where the book is off hand, but if i find it, i'll post it.

I would go with silver as well. It would just look very good. Either way, it is a nice car. Good luck

Yes, **** straight it ought to be red. If not, Lamborgini orange would kick ass equaly as well.

Oh yeah, I think you should chunk that ugly steering wheel, I hate those flat ones like you have.

I like that color. Granted i zm slightly color impaired so......i would go with something exoptic. Something that gives attitude and style. Maybe silver, red, or sky blue.

A nice candy apple red.... with some violet perl feathered in... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

House of kolor is nice schtuff, but we've had amazing results with DuPont Imron paints also, at less cost... We've used thecandy apple red from house of kolor with some very wicked results, amazing car when it was done.

A deep blue metallic or a brandywine would match the interior somewhat well, one of my favorite colors is an Imron 5000 mixture we use here at work... closest match would be midnight blue metallic... add perl to it and man.... nummy....

Given the era, I'd go with Black, Silver or Candy Apple Red. If you like the idea of "modernizing" it, then go YELLOW!!! A nice bright Ferrari yellow....muhahahaha!

Yeah, yeah...OK silver is cool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well thanks for all of the suggestions. Decided on Midnight Blue mettalic with of course white shelby stripes. And it's a 67' gt500 KR. A little different than Ealenor, but not much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Thanks guys

You get the big cookie //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Actually there's a dodge ram sitting in my friends shop with the exact same paint job. One look at that and I was hooked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Here is my thought, theory. Those speakers are 80w rms. Half of that is 40w rms. Add the 40 to the 80 and you get 120w. Get an amp that is 120w...
