OS Sound Stream Rubicons?

Ok guys I think I finaly got somthin good in are small shop and want to know more about them and if they are worth picking up... Theres a 502 and a 1002 (or I think so I thought it said 1200 but from looking it must be the 1002)... They are in perfect condition besides that one of them is missing a screw in the terminals... So lets hear some feed back and get some specs!

Solid little amps, as long as you don't throw a 1ohm load at them. You'll hear a lot of people saying they are underrated, but they aren't. They just do rated power. That doesn't make them bad, they sound great, and the Hawkins EQ is great. My buddy is running a 1002 to his Diyma R12 right now and is loving it!

If I remember right, they say they can do full power into 1 or 4 ohms, or something like that. But don't throw a 1ohm load on them or they will go byebye

Yep

IIRC, it's a subsonic filter.

Could be a bass boost though

looks like a imitation of the good soundstream cheater amps like the reference 500 that was a nice amp half ohm stable mixed mono hi current hi power switch running .5 ohm stable had to double check when I seen yours with mine to realize the difference.Does it have the darlington power array if it does it will produce.

open the 500 up look at the board it will say right on it if it has the darlington power array

Definitely not an imitation...

Rubicon and Reference amps were very similar. The Reference amps were a little bit higher quality. I'm going to venture a guess that the Rubicons don't have the Darlington power supply. They are all great amps though.
