I am thining a bout buying a pair of HCCA 15s for my automobile..

I am looking for very heavy, powerful bass. Not bass that just sounds loud.

I want them to be so insanely powerful that they will flex my roof.

I want them to sound good as well, I'm not a sound quality nerd, but I do like my music to sound decent.

 

I just want to know how they sound from anyone who has heard or owned them. I know they are loud, but do they sound good? Or does a 40mm xmax make them sound sloppy?

 

Note: YES, I do know that the electrical to run these will be expensive.

Terrible speakers. I can't remember the last time I saw a winning competitior use them. Orion went down hill years ago.

Get an fi BTL than, or a custom built driver from someone here on the forums. If you want the loudest, than your going to have to spend a lot of $

You do know Rockford PD can and will impound your car for loud music right?

you want a woofer that gets loud as hell, can take alot of power for long periods and still holds sound quality, hits low....

Sundown Zv2 is my suggestion.
