Orion 2500D Gain

Okay, so when i hooked up my MT18 i didnt touch the gain(was set so when i had the XXX15 so it was fairly low, was set at mid 40's for 2000w.) Then that same day i was curious to see what it was reading and i put my dmm and it reads a crazy 98v, i was like wtf? So i checke all the settings in my HU and they were fine, never touched... then i lower the gain all the way down in the amp and it goes down to 95v... then i lower all the settings in the HU and the lowest it went was around 70's... what gives here? Right now i just tested again and it gave me 98v and the gain isnt even half way... and i have been running it like this for 2 days now and nothing, not even a single shut off... whats going on here, am i missing something?

Plain and simple, your amps defective and its going to explode if you keep running it like that.

Oh crap I've ssen this before, send the amp to me immediatley for repairs and inspections.

maybe your DMM is ****ed up...

Test the voltage of the power cable, or anything that you have a general idea of what it should read, just to see if your DMM is inaccurate or not.

Not the DMM. He tried it out with my DMM today and it read the same shit. It read something in the low 90s I was like wtf.
