Order from DC Power INC Alternators

i dnt think they will rip you off. they just have extremely horrible customer service.

i would always have to call a bunch of times before getting any answer. everytime i called all i ever got was their machines and id have to keep on at it. keep calling and emailing. (they take weeks to answer emails. i know this cus id get a reply from them like every two weeks). pathetic customer service, idk why so many claim that they have the best, when they really dont. maybe they USED to but not anymore. and when i do get a hold of them, they are always pretty rude.

anyways, keep calling and emailing. you should get through to them eventually. if you placed your order they should ship it out soon. i ordered mine and i got it in one week exactly. i was actually a little skeptical if i got a custom made one since it got to me so quickly.

 
It was weird though, asking questions about my alt BEFORE I bought it I would get a response within 24 hours. Now its been over a week AFTER I bought it and still no response....lol that's some major bank sitting there without being able to see what the fawk it's doing.

 
No reply = the start of a paypal claim. Leave em a message saying claim has been started if they don't reply or send the alt, you will file the full claim.

They get enough of those and they may improve their customer service.

 
I emailed twice. One a week after I ordered asking for an update. Then again a week later asking about my order and telling them about the error on their website. Which is their fault since the web sever they use has this issue and a simple fix in the code solves this problem.

 
Okay I am going to keep this thread updated the best I can to give people an idea of how long they can expect their alts to take if they just recently ordered.

I got a reply from Stan this morning with an apology and stating the alts frames are 3 weeks out for new ones (I ordered a 270XP). I also sent a reply asking how long after they get the frames in will it take.

First off, I would like to apologize for the delay getting back to you, we are extremely busy and get behind on our e-mail responses periodically!

As far as your alternator shipment goes, I have to apologize for that also, we have ran out of the billet frames that we use to produce your alternator and our stock will not be replenished for approximately 3 weeks. So, at this time I can offer you a refund or I can thank you kindly for waiting patiently for us to replenish our stock.

I also think if you respond to my regulator e-mail at _____, I won't miss any more of your e-mails?
