I have Bazooka SAS-T82 tube, yes it's around 20 years old. Still works fine. I have this connected to an Alpine MRV-F300 amp, bridging channels 3 and 4, for 150 watts @ 4 ohms. This is what the tube is rated for.
My question is, what is the optimal low pass frequency I should be using? The amp and head unit both can be adjusted to whatever I need it to be. I have experimented with 80hz, 100hz, 120hz and I can't tell the difference. I have not yet installed the new door speakers I plan to use but they are rated 35 - 23k Hz.
[The car is a 2001 Corvette convertible and the tube is in the center well, in case that matters]
Would love some tips here please..
