Optima battery

audiohbahnuser18 - I mean for a starting battery... Im having a problem right now and i think it might be the battery. i dont think the amp for my subs is getting all the power it needs.

The problem - after playing my music at volume 20 or higher for about 5 minutes, my amp for my subs will shut off.....then 2 minutes later itll kick back in....then plays for 2 minutes shuts off ..and so on. it gets a little overheated. checked all connections - got a good ground. also i have a 2 farad cap....but my headlights still dim ...but you can barely realize it but they still dim. my amp for my speakers or my head unit wont shut off , just the amp for my subs. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

THANX
