Optima Batteries...real good Americans.Huh?

Have you told those out of work people you know to go spend their "extra cash" to help stimulate the economy?
Of course not. I believe I said if you have the money to spend then spend it. Don't blow your savings on stupid things, don't take out loans to buy stupid things if you can't pay it back.

So for all the unemployed people you know, before they got unemployed were you telling them to go buy tv's with their "extra" cash and not put it into savings? If so, how did this work out for them?

And I didn't say anything about overspending? I believe I did. The banks are the real issue. Before the banks went down for giving out loans they knew could not be paid back, the economy was not suffering nearly as much. Once the banks went down, people got scared and that sent the economy into a downward spiral.
Typical mainstream media brainwashed. You realize for a contract to go down, BOTH parties have to agree, right?

You also realize that if there wasn't a massive drive of irresponsible consumption, there wouldn't be a demand for these loans, right?

I hope you also know that about 12% of homeowners in the country are delinquent on their mortgages.

Don't just blame one side when theres two sides to blame. I hate it when people do that.

How is it the banks fault? Didn't the dumbasses getting the loans realize they cannot afford them?

I never said my advice was worth taking... I just like to argue. Even when I'm wrong, I'll argue my incorrect point just to get a rise out of people.

Obviously, however the people who couldn't afford the loans thought they could because they didn't have fixed rates. After a couple of years, sometimes even just months, they had to forclose because the rates were killing them. Banks did this because they knew the person had terrible credit. To the borrower, the loan looked good. They were uneducated and didn't realize what was about to happen to them. As for others, they figured they could probably just easily default on the loan.

So basically you are saying you are an ignorant *******?
Yes sir, I am. I'm definitely an *******, but as far as ingnorant goes...well, I am pretty educated, I did graduate in the top 10% of my high school class and I've got 4 years of college under my belt, on the Dean's list with honors. I guess as far as politics go, maybe I am a little ignorant. I really don't care too much, I just like to argue. The term "ignorant *******" in this case definitely suits me.

So you are saying people should be educated to be valuable so they can keep their jobs so they can spend more "extra" cash, but you excuse ignorance for people that got into ARM's for houses they couldn't afford at a fixed rate? I'm lost, so its the banks fault, the educated people, who had the jobs?

It's the fault of both parties in almost every case. People who shouldn't get loans apply for them and banks that know they shouldn't be handing them out, do just that. It's a recipe for disaster and this is the ignorant *******'s (referring to myself) reason for the way the economy is right now.

At 16 yrs old you are not nearly as well informed as you would like to believe. Ill play the age card because knowledge is something aquired over time. If you feel that you are so enlightned, spread the word to your peers who seem to be continually proving they will be the downfall of society.
First of all, I am not 16. I am also willing to bet that I am far more intelligent and knowledgeable than you will be at your highest point of intellectuality.

I'm sorry you are young and dumb. May God someday shine some light your way and show you the path away from your drug induced delusions.
I'm not 16, jackass. My profile isn't accurate. I like how you don't address my actual argument so you don't have to be wrong. I also won't take advice on drugs from a presumable meth head from Colorado. I'll stick to my research chemicals and anti tussive agents before I touch half the shit I bet you have.

I like these people who over simply how easy factory work is. I'd like to see any "educated" person work in a factory or mill for 6 months and see how long they last.
I have two bachelors degrees and I'm close to finishing my MBA so I consider myself relatively educated. When I was home during the summers I worked at a tube plant. Lets just say it made me very glad when I finally got to work in air conditioning and not be on my feet all day. As far as people go though, I prefer factory work haha..
