Optima Batteries...real good Americans.Huh?

Me not buying an Optima battery will not make a difference in neither USA or Mexico's economy.
Why don't you take your false-patriotic B.S. somewhere else you republican zealot.

Ur gay....lol

What we should have done is tax imported good heavily as a penalty for not being usa built, this free trade deal happened long ago,and now it has become our country's demise....
just as an example , now saudi arabia and the emmerates are building mega cities with zero U.S. steel or products...So we are missing a ton of exports because we dont make jack chit here anymore

and have shot ourselves in the foot......

There is something to be said for being able to build on site in fast time.........

We are no longer the superpower we once was........China is king

You can thank your fathers and grandfathers for selling out.......Oh and Walmart too
Shutup you ****ing hypocrite. You owned an Acura. You are the one selling out douchebag.

The true downfall of the American economy. Everything they carry is not only imported like everything else in this country, but they're lower quailty products than if you were to buy them elsewhere. If you buy a TV there, or any wholesaler like Sams, Costco, etc, you're buying a submodel television. You will not find that model anywhere except for that store. Brands make cheaper models for stores like that to sell as crap. That goes for all the electronics, clothes, jewelery, and even the moldy food they sell. I don't understand why anyone would support a store like that and shop there.

So buying a Sony TV at another store is more American than Walmart? Target doesn't import their goods? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif The problem is, there are very few American clothing manufacturers anymore, and most people can only afford Walmart.

Because the cannot afford a better version. In the past, they had to do without. Now, they get something. Something > Nothing.

No, I did not say anywhere that TVs coming from other stores are more american. I was saying that their submodels and they're not built as well. Purchasing from fine retailers like Best Buy, Crutchfield, the old Circuit City (not sure how the new website carries), Tiger Direct, and other places like that, you'll get a much better product. Basically I was just bashing WalMart. It's a super store full of super crap that pretty much moves into an area and all the stores around it end up suffering because of all the "rolled back" prices on the junk they carry.

Perhaps that is why they are a "discount" retailer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

True, something is better than nothing, however, people who can afford the nicer things in life still go there to get their "high end" equipment. The only way to get out of this econimic mess we're in is to spend money we have. People don't realize that. There are plenty of people out there with money right now, but they're out spending it at Walmart to save a few bucks. If everyone out there who could afford to buy a nicer piece of equipment did instead of going to Walmart to pick up a piece of junk that's only going to last them 2 years if they're lucky, we'd be doing a little better as an economy. The reason we're in this mess is because people spent money they didn't have. We've been outsourcing for a long time. Look at when Clinton was president. We were outsourcing then and that was when the economy was at one of it's strongest times. Outsourcing is not the reason. People were given loans by banks when they obviously didn't deserve the loan. Banks were handing them out left and right. Well, guess what. People defaulted on them, houses were lost, people declared bankruptcy, and why? All because they spent money they didn't have, nor did they have the means to ever pay it back. This is the real problem.

I'm a district LP for Sears Holdings and worked in all areas of Kmart. Kmart, Target etc are no different than Walmart. Almost everything in Kmart is imported from China.
