ok, by good, wut others would u compare them to......wut class would u put them in?.....the best price the guy quoted me the d312" @ $200 a peice.....but waz looking more into the D6...i'm guessing $300.....wut would a 12XXX cost me......i really prefer not to buy off the net if i can help it......no garuntee of wut u'r getting, or when, if u'll get it.........i've had friends that made a living that way : (

HUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 200 for a d3...yeah right...you can get a d6 for a lil over 180....the XXX i beleive they havent put the new one on the market yet so i couldnt tell ya tha price..

if you go on ebay you can usually find deals on diamond woofers (if you buy from ebay stores rather than accuall people youll be fine)

but 200 a peice for a D3 is a lil un heard of...they go for around 100 shipped on ebay and for around 120 on most sites

^^here is the diamond sub section of woofersetc.com well respected company i'd bought from them before service is great D6s go for a lil over 200 on there, you can get about a 20-30 dollar deal by shopping on ebay

you could buy used off the forums, they're doing some sortof an upgrade on the XXX's i recall reading about it but i forgot what was said

edit: as for buying off the net goes....you can find some pretty awesome deals via the internet, i was a lil iffy too before i bought online but now everything i buy comes from online

crossfire makes some great amps, i'd look into some orion products as well (1200d, 2500d)

i respect u'r oppinion, but as of now, i just dissagree......i have heard many 15's, and from talking to the dealers around here, they say that they are for SPL.....my point is that if u can get bass that is just as acurate out of (1) 15" as (2) 10", there is more cone area (more air being moved +more bass) using the 15's......then why would anyone buy dual 10"s, yet that is a very comon set-up........ i am very subjective to other oppinions, but u if there is sumthing that i am unaware of, i wish u would explain to me how it works, instead of just saying "you're wrong"......

you probably listen to a very ill tuned 15. what "smart" people confuse with being slow is more output at a given volume. they dont tune it to compensate for that plus alot of people put them in smallish boxxes and run too little power. some of the greatest sq comp cars of all time used 15's and 18's and they had them on during the contest. alot of people recomend you the xxx 15 personally i would lean more towards a 12-15" memphis m3 sub and or image dynamics idq 12-15 or their idmax 12. these all sound great to rock and if you are willing to wait and hunt on ebay and look for image dynamics idw 15 or 18 you would be VERY suprized what they can do. all of the subs i just mentioned sound good but also excell in rock music
