cool thanks bean. the home audio questions are these. my dad is looking to sell his sub and amp for home audio. the sub is a 12 in jbl. don't have the excate model #. the box however is a very nice. the box is 25.5x21.5x18. It has a nice grill cover the whole front and is ported. the amp is a two channel adcom amp. the model #is gfa5002. any idea if this is good equipment if anyone would consider it or if I should put it on ebay as well as a fairly decent price for it all. thanks for your help

Adcom stuff is acutally really good...... Little tid bit, the gfa in their model numbers actually stands for..............Good ****ing amplifier, no kidding. How much you thinking? I know you can get a few hundred buck for the amp alone.

what amp would you suggest I use to push the bostons. The cheaper of the two probably. also, what sq subs would you suggest. I have a regular cab so not much room. I have two 10w0 in there now. any info would be great. thanks

Dakota, I don't know about the sub box.... Is it even a home sub woofer? what are chances of you snapping a pic?

As for powering up the Boston's. The best sounding amp I've heard for a car is the new Rockford TYPE RF amplifiers. You would need and X2 or the X3. They are amazing and drastically underrated.

As for ear drummin...... The president's got a pretty tough job, I have a hard time criticizing political figures for that reason. However I really disliked all of the slanderous advertisements that went on during the senate races this year.... You guys see a lot of that on TV where you live?

yea bean I will take some pics tomorrow. I am 99.9% sure that it is a home box. I will take pics of both the amp and the box a nd woofer tomorrow. thanks for all of the help and for the suggestions on the amp.

I have to echo beans thougts on the pres. in a very tough postion, but then again, that is what we elected him to do so it is a two way street.
